Anna and Grandma

Just realized I should have put a timeline on the whole drawing thing--so I'll have the kids do it Friday. :-)

Going along with the whole catch-up posting thing, I have a few pics of Anna and Grandma having fun.  My mother-in-law had a nasty tumble back in September and broke her leg and her wrist.  She has been in a rehab center near us since October 3rd (long time!) and has been recovering well, but goes back to the orthopedic surgeon in Orlando on Friday to find out if she can start walking again with the help of a walker.  That's a big deal because it should be a step closer to going home, and she is very eager to be home in Orlando for Christmas.  So I know she'd appreciate prayers for a good outcome to that appointment, hint hint.

Here's a picture of Anna going to visit Grandma in the hospital:

The kids initially did well visiting Grandma in the rehab center....until they became more comfortable there.  And now, as my mom says, they act like they own the place.  They know exactly how to find Barb's room, how to open the doors with the handicap button, how to wheel the wheelchair, and how to find the restroom and open it using a punch code.  And they are crazy loud, so I have a feeling everyone in the center breathes a sigh of relief when we leave.

So I try to bring along a game or activity for them to do.  And that led to some pretty cute pics of Grandma and Anna in an exciting game of Candyland:

Uh-oh---looks like Grandma's going backwards:

Anna is not a gracious loser...or winner. ;-)

When Grandma checks out(which I pray will be soon), the rehab will miss little Miss Sunshine!
