More Will-isms

Me: Will, I think we should work on some of your flash cards from school after dinner.

Will: I already know all of that.  I already know everything.

Me: You can never know everything--even adults still learn new things.  Even Daddy and I don't know everything.

Will (with a look of pity):  That's okay, Mama.  I can teach you and Daddy everything.

Will loves to build elaborate structures out of his blocks, but tends to melt down in frustration when his masterpieces fall down.  According to Miss Leah, this exchange happened the other day:

Will:  I'm going to build a very big, big tower.

Miss Leah:  Now Will, I don't want you to be upset if your tower falls down.  Sometimes blocks just fall down, and you can always build it again.

Will (with a sigh): Miss Leah, you can tell me and tell me not to be mad if my blocks fall down.  But I WILL be mad if my blocks fall down.  Because that's how God made me.

************

Will: I don't want y'all to cut my fingernails anymore.

John: Why?

Will:  Because I want to be able to climb up the wall like Spiderman!

John:  Spiderman doesn't climb the walls with his fingernails--he has sticky fingers.

Will: Ohhh.......(which led to the following video):
