Christmas Eve-Eve at the Twilight Motel

The children are nestled all snug in their beds, so I'm going to eke out a blog post before Santa arrives.

We had an early Christmas gift in the form of Mama and Missy driving all the way to Ormond Beach for a 24-hour visit.  John and I are both on call for the holiday and stuck here, so we will be celebrating with just our little family tomorrow.  So we were thrilled to have visitors for Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve-eve.

They arrived in time for dinner, and afterwards we went to the Twilight Motel to check out the Christmas lights.  We took Mama there last year, and she felt that Missy really needed to see the place in person.

It was Christmas light overload!!

After returning home, we opened gifts.

Will was so excited about his telescope:

And Anna is all ready for some T-ball thanks to Aunt Missy and her new Hello Kitty bat:

The grand finale for Anna was a present from Nana and Papa:

A Doc McStuffins "desk":

Anna said, "I will play with it forever!"  That's gift success right there. :-)

And I'm off to bed before the big man arrives.  Merry Christmas!!
