Will was playing policeman yesterday and cited Anna and her scooter for violating traffic laws; specifically, she travelled outside of the chalk lines that he drew to make a road. He made her sit down for a thorough police interrogation.
Will: Anna, why were you riding off the road?
Anna tried looking innocent:
Then she launched into a detailed story...
...involving a monster...
...a boo-boo...
...and lots of facial expressions...
...and vehement declarations of innocence.
Then she decided to just ignore him. Uh oh.
Will: You did break the law, Anna! You are not perfect, Anna. Only God is perfect.
(Did I mention he goes to a Southern Baptist school? For a second there, I thought he was about to do an altar call.)
Was the perpetrator remorseful? You be the judge:
Will eventually let her off with a warning. She grabbed her scooter, and immediately committed the same traffic infraction. (So much for criminal rehab.) Then Will tried to impound her scooter, and Police Chief Mama had to put down her knitting and iPhone and intervene. No pictures of that, I'm afraid, but both kids did end up in jail (also known as having to go inside).

I love it. Anna's facial expressions are priceless.
Hilarious!!!
Well, I love this! I have seen each one of those expressions. I wish those little expressions were headed my way for Thanksgiving.
