Like Mother, Like Daughter

I left Anna at the kitchen table to eat her breakfast of milk and waffles this morning.  A few minutes later, I heard some giggling.  Remembering that her bag of Easter goodies from Nana was also on the kitchen table, I called out, "Anna, what are you eating??"

Anna replied, "Waffle. Eat waffle."

I went to the kitchen to investigate, finding an empty foil wrapper and this guilty little face:

I probably should have punished her but considered the fact that I had eaten five Peeps for breakfast myself, decided to avoid hypocrisy, and let it slide. :-)

Too cute! Technically, she gave a correct answer. She IS eating a waffle. She just didn't list everything she was eating...

I don't think that anyone can resist chocolate when it's there for the taking. :)
