While John travelled to Gainesville for that way-too-stressful-for-me-to-watch UF-Arkansas game, the kids and I took a trip to Bunnell to visit a fall festival and pumpkin patch.
As soon as I mentioned the words "bounce house" and "hot dog," Will was ready to go. He loves both--here he is enjoying the obstacle courses and bounce houses:
Showing off his hot dog:
We have many, many, many pics of both kids in the pumpkin patch, which I will add to Shutterfly soon. These are my favorites:
Awwww...what a good big brother.
"Mama says people eat these things. Maybe I'll try just a little bite."
"Hmmm...not too tasty."
"I think I'll stick to sweet potatoes and carrots."
Will checked to see if Anna actually consumed any pieces of pumpkin stem, and pronounced her mouth empty. He gets quite concerned about her choking, which I find amusing because he only recently stopped sticking odd objects in his own mouth.
Will wanted to pick out a pumpkin to take home for carving with Daddy.
I quickly made a rule that Will had to be able to lift the pumpkin if we were to buy it, because he kept trying to pick the biggest (read: most expensive) pumpkins.
Finally, we wound up the outing with a hayride behind some tractor-like vehicle. I made the mistake of comparing the tractor to Papa's tractor. Will was quick to remind me that Papa's tractor did not have hay behind it, and instead it had something that went up and down and picked up grass and building blocks. (Building blocks?? Not sure about that.) And then pointed out that if it were Papa's tractor, he would ride on the actual tractor and not behind it in the hay like everybody else (read: losers). He is seriously lobbying for a tractor ride with Papa.
Last but not least (and having nothing to do with the rest of this post other than continuity of outfit), another video of Anna. She is picking up new motor skills almost daily, so I feel the need to video her all the time. She has just learned how to get back into a sitting position from laying down, and it just enthralls me:

Looks like a fun day....such cuties.
Saw your comment on Boo mama's Starbuck's post and thought I'd hop over and check out your blog. I am a fellow gingerbread latte lover! It just makes it feel like Christmas and i LOVE when they come out with their holiday cups! My husband laughs at me cause I am always sad the first time I get my drink in the old white and green cup after Christmas. It means Christmas is over!
