A New View

I took Anna by the office today for a 3-month weigh-in, and was a little surprised (not in a good way). She weighs 14 pounds 9 ounces--that's only 4 ounces gained in the past month. Not much, considering she was gaining an average of 1.75 ounces each day in her first 2 months. She's still larger than 90% of babies her age and as my coworkers pointed out, she's still pretty chub. So I'm trying to not be too neurotic about it (although I think I fed her about every hour on the hour today).

We went by Target after the weight check and I bought Anna a present to celebrate her improving head control:


We never had a Bumbo seat for Will--I didn't know about them until after he was born and they are pretty expensive for just a piece of molded plastic. Poor kid--if we wanted to prop him up, we just used pillows. But a princess needs a throne, so into the cart it went.

(P.S. Isn't that jumpsuit too cute? It's from Aunt Missy--and her peep-toe Mary Janes are from Aunt Laurie. I had her all styled up for her visit to the office.)
