The purpose is to provide exposure and customers for the websites (although John would argue that the purpose is to drive other family members nuts while you take over the computer for a month--there are over 100 icons to find, and some of them are extremely well hidden, so it takes a little time!!). Many sell cloth diapers, but there are lots of other things, including tons of cute baby gifts/clothes/toys, many of them handmade.
Due to holidays and other things, I didn't find all the icons like I did the last time--but I did win one of the daily prizes (a set of wipes). Check me out on the winner's page! Still waiting to find out if I won a big prize, fingers crossed. I also found some good cloth diaper deals for Bob--I figure I'll at least try cloth diapering the first 6 months, and then see how things go after that when she starts solids. I just really dislike handling the poop (especially toddler poop)--as Will would say, "Yeeeee-uck!!."
PS...if you enjoy spending too much time on the computer and annoying your husband/family like I do, the next hunt is in May...
