Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was filled with some good things (hospital newborn rounds and being part of a new mom's first Mother's Day--always fun), and some not-so-good (pulling up to church thinking I'd make the end of the service--only to get 3 patient phone calls in the car, and having to tell 2 moms that no, it wasn't a good idea to take their feverish children to their respective family brunches), but it ended with a fun lunch and then an afternoon knitting on the back porch and watching my family terrorize the fish in the retention pond.  Pretty awesome day. :-)
