Anna's fourth birthday celebration started with a trip to Orlando to celebrate with Grandma....and Cinderella! We stopped by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Downtown Disney for a quick updo....
...complete with crown, nail polish, and....
glitter!! Lots and lots of it:
John and Will snuck off to the T-Rex store during all this beautification but they came back to see the final results. Will kept a healthy distance from the glitter wand, though. :-)
Anna, signing her name in the guest book:
We went to pick up Grandma and then headed to the Grand Floridian for dinner.
Being not so princess-y. Or gentleman-ly:
We had reservations for Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare.
Will and his first trip to the buffet:
We definitely got our money's worth out of the kids' buffet--both Will and Anna went back for seconds and thirds. John was thrilled.
Anna was almost too busy eating to notice the characters, but we talked her into a photo with Prince Charming:
And Cinderella, of course:
Standing up with the rest of the birthday girls in the room:
Anna was so exhausted after all the fun that I could barely wake her up long enough to remove the crown and bobby pins from her hair. She woke us up the next morning crying, "my sparkles are all gone!" She was so sad! (Although, to be honest, there were a lot of sparkles left. It took about 3 baths to remove all those sparkles.)
On her real birthday, I sent some Cinderella cupcakes to school with her:
That night, Will orchestrated a pre-dinner show:
Then we had tacos (Anna's choice) and banana pudding pie:
Will picked out some Stompeez for Anna--he was so proud of his gift:
Anna's final celebration was with Nana and Papa in Blountstown. By this time, we'd celebrated so many times that she thought she was turning five. :-)
This cake turned out nothing like I'd pictured, and I wasn't really thrilled with it (I've lost a little of my cake mojo lately), but Anna didn't seem to notice:
Sweet Big Girl!
