Spring debuts

We've had a few firsts this weekend.

On Saturday morning, Will had his first T-ball game of the spring season, on the brand new (fancy) T-ball fields:

Later that afternoon, John took the kids to Rainbow Park, which just reopened after being closed for a big refurbishment.  John helped do some building on the new park, so he feels pride of ownership.  :-)

The kids were so excited:

And this morning, Anna sang with the preschool choir at church for the first time ever.  She wasn't going to be old enough to sing until this fall, but her teacher asked if she would like to go ahead and start a little early.  I knew she would love the practices, but didn't know how she'd do in performances.

Well, she loved it.  Big time.  And she's watched this video about five times since we got home:

(That's her, front row, purple dress.  Sorry about the shaky part in the middle!)

There is just something about a little boy in a baseball uniform...esp in the field with his hands on his knees waiting for action! Loved Anna's performance...her excitement should have put a smile on every face in the congregation! Give them a big hug!!
