Perhaps the biggest development--on her 10 month birthday (last Wednesday) she got her first tooth. Her second tooth popped through this week. Here's a shot of her pearly whites (can you see them?):
She loves to dance and babbles/sings. She enjoys the little teapot she got for Christmas (from Aunt Missy) and will bounce along with the music it plays:
Her hair has definitely been the negative point of development this month. It is long, straight, and straggly--I am crossing my fingers for some curls, but things do not look promising. I try to sweep her bangs to the side with bows, but she pulls the bows off as fast as I can clip them on. I think she's just going to look a little straggly until she can wear a ponytail.

Anna, at 10 months old:
- Weighs a little over 19 pounds. She was at the 50% for height and weight at her 9 month checkup.
- Has 2 bottom teeth.
- Is babbling consonant sounds and has said "mama" and "dada" once each. I swear she said "mama" right at me while I was making her dinner one day.
- Points at people and waves bye-bye if she feels like it.
- Still thinks the remote control is the best toy ever.
- Is in 9-12 month clothes, size 3 diapers. Phasing out the cloth diapers (I know, boo on me).
- Is eating puffs, stage 3 foods, and nursing. Hasn't mastered the sippy cup yet--we're working on it. Fruit and sweet potatoes are still her favorite food. (Actually, ice cream and mango key lime pie would be her favorites if we allowed her more than the occasional bite.)
- Is still so easygoing. We still can't believe how easy she is to take places--she loves to go out to eat and will sit for over and hour in her highchair, as long as she has a steady supply of puffs.
