Plagued by the plague

Well, this was supposed to be the second "Weekend Recap" post to complete the last one...and it was supposed to be followed by Anna's six-month birthday post. But several things have transpired to make this difficult:

1. I feel icky. Head stuffy, throat sore, horrible cough. Am drugged up on Sudafed and Ibuprofen.
2. John has been working nights, so daytime child care has been all me this weekend. We've watched lots of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
3. Tim Tebow is injured. Searching for injury updates has occupied all my computer time today.
4. Our printer is out of ink, so no "Anna is Six Months Old" sign.
5. Anna hates rice cereal. All of our video clips of her first bites involve gagging.

Sorry to be a drag...hopefully the first issue (my "respiratory illness," to borrow Urban Meyer's words) will pass quickly and I'll at least get some 6 month photos of Anna. But in the meantime, I'll finish the "Weekend Recap" by saying we visited Washington Oaks Gardens State Park last Sunday--it was hot, humid, and fun and the pictures are here.

Hope your weekend is going better than ours!!

Try a little applesauce in that cereal. I hope you get to feeling better without sharing the bug with the rest of your family. I love you.
