Anna had her well child exam today and her four month stats are 15 pounds 9 ounces, 25 1/4 inches long, and 16 inch head circumference. She's still a chubette, but is back on the growth chart at the 90th %ile.
At four months, Anna:
- Is sleeping from about 8:30 pm until 6 am. Shortly after she turned 3 months old, she started waking again for a feeding at 3 am, but this past week she has slept through the night several times. I'm hoping that's a trend that continues.
- Is starting to take 2 long naps per day (1-2 hours each).
- Is cooing and laughing.
- Is keeping her fingers in her mouth constantly! Not much drooling, though.
- Is eating about 7-8 times each day--still nursing, we're saving solids until the 6 month birthday.
- Likes to grasp her rattle and grabs for the hanging toys on her playgym.
- Is rolling over from her tummy to her back; she can almost roll back to tummy, but gets stuck on her side.
- Is wearing 3-6 months clothing and some 6-12 month clothing.
She JUST rolled over for the first time today. I told her it would be nice if she rolled over before her checkup so we could check off that milestone. When I put her on her playgym this morning while I got ready for her appointment, she promptly rolled over. She is definitely agreeable!
I do have a few pictures of her shots. Two of our nurses teamed up so Anna would feel minimal pain--is that princess treatment or what? She was pretty pitiful during the shots, but perked up and was smiling by the time we left.
And a few more pictures of our big girl!
