Mother's Day and "More Birthday"

If you didn't catch it in Will's video, he had a second birthday celebration at Disney. We went to Orlando on Mother's Day and had brunch at O'hana's at the Polynesian to celebrate Mother's Day with Grandma and Will's birthday. This was a character brunch with Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch. I think Will is at the perfect age for characters--old enough to not be scared of them, but young enough to think he met the "real" character. He is crazy about Mickey, and eagerly gave Mickey and Pluto big hugs at breakfast (he wasn't very nice to Lilo, though--he hadn't seen the movie and didn't know who she was, so told her he was looking for Pluto).

Here are some photos from brunch:

I still can't believe I'm the mama of two kiddos. They gave me a wonderful gift (with a little help from John)--a surprise manicure/pedicure at the spa at our hotel scheduled for that afternoon. It was very relaxing and I loved every minute of it.

We spent 3 more days at "Mickey's House." We go there fairly often, but Will never seems to get tired of it. He did pretty well, although he had some serious tantrums on our final day (maybe the cumulative excitement/lack of sleep did him in). This was Anna's first trip to Disney--she pretty much slept the entire time in the Baby Bjorn.

Here are some more pictures of Will with his favorite Disney peeps. For all the pictures, check out the Shutterfly site. We're off to visit the rest of the family this weekend, pictures of that next week!
