My name is Anna Blythe Gianini and I was born on Friday, March 27th, at 1:51 pm. I weighed in at 7 pounds 8 ounces and 20 inches long. My birth was pretty uneventful (Mama was a little nervous, but I did great). I've now been home an entire week and have kept up a busy schedule of eating, sleeping, pooping, and being held almost all the time by my aunts Missy and Laurie as well as Mama and Daddy (and Nana is coming today to get in some holding time, too).
Mama and Daddy seem really happy that I am almost always content--from the stories I've heard, my big brother Will wasn't like that at all. Not a surprise to me, he is definitely the loudest thing in my new home. He keeps trying to put little trains and cars in my hands, and has informed me of the house rules and how I'll be in something called "time out" if I don't do what I'm told. I think he's pretty bossy. However, he also gives me lots of kisses and head pats, sings to me, and is quick to go running for my pacifier when I get upset.
So far in my lifetime, I've had my first girls lunch with Mama and Aunt Laurie, and my first shopping trip (house shopping!) with Mama and Daddy. And apparently I'm going out to dinner tonight with Mama and Daddy (they are celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary today!!). It's enough to wear a girl out--which is maybe why I sleep most of the day.
Well, that's about all I have to say for now; I'll turn the blog back over to Mama whenever she manages to get up enough energy to post. Here are a few more pics of me, and Mama says she'll post again when she updates the Shutterfly page with ALL my photos.
Love,
Anna
