Turning green

I added a few new pictures--take a peek and check out Will's spiffy new diapers. I decided to try switching him to cloth diapers on the days that he is at home with me, for both ecological and economical reasons, and also in the hopes that it would spur Will's interest in toilet-training (although, as Mama points out, despite wearing cloth diapers I was more than halfway to kindergarten before figuring out potty training). He definitely notices when he's wet in the cloth diapers, whereas in disposables he only lets us know about #2's. ("Poo-POO! Poo-POOOOO!!!") I do wish I had started this waaayyy back when he had little non-smelly baby poos.

I initially purchased the cool pocket diapers--love those (especially Fuzzi Bunz and Bumwear), and so does Will, but in order to make this experiment cost-effective at this stage of the game, I decided to mostly go with the old-fashioned prefolds with covers. He is not so wild about these because of the bulk--when I was hanging them to dry, I pointed at them and said "these are your new diapers!" He looked at me skeptically and said, very clearly, "NOT a diaper."
